TodaRota: In-house fleet management platform
Replacing a licensed system with an in-house fleet management platform. 19 screens designed, with its own design system underneath. The same 19 screens coded and running in the product.

TodaRota is Track7's in-house fleet management platform. Both brands have the same owner. The operation runs today on a licensed off-the-shelf system, and TodaRota is being built to replace it.
I did the product design and the front end: I designed and coded the entire interface, 19 screens. The engine belongs to Track7's internal team, built in parallel: API, authentication and tracker telemetry ingestion.
The map at the center,
the whole fleet on one screen.
19 screens, from the Overview to user administration. Live Tracking is the center: the only Operations screen that is not a table.
From cluster to route,
from Ruler to Chart.
Recorded on the public demo, with synthetic data.
The card opens in the corner, without covering the vehicle, and the current route draws the trip.
Ruler and Chart switch on the same plane, without opening another screen.
Controls have relief,
data is flat.
Plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, no framework and no build. Every color, radius, shadow and spacing is born as a token, in a single file; the text scale clears 4.5:1 on the lightest card.

Two greens that never mix: one is data, the other is state.

What went in,
and what stayed out.
Every screen started from a comparison with the platform the operation was using: 560 articles of its public documentation. Each feature fell into one of three classes: gap, half done, or excess. The excess stayed out on purpose.
- 01
Reports come out as files
The catalog picks, configures and generates; reading means opening the PDF or the spreadsheet.
- 02
Three roles and the garages
Instead of four layers of permission: Administrator, Manager and Operator, filtered by garage.
- 03
Is it the vehicle or the driver?
The Timeline puts two drivers in the same vehicle, in the same time window.
- 04
The excess stayed out
About 90 reports became 15 templates; 24 geofence colors, 8 curated; no maintenance Kanban.
Audited by keyboard,
fixed and proven.
The keyboard audit of September 8, 2026 went through the 19 screens at 2000, 1366 and 390 px and found 7 issues, all fixed: focus that did not enter the record or the modals, Tab escaping the modal, searches without a focus indicator, ranking letters below 4.5:1.

The demo and the manual
are live.
The back end gets the finished interface, a typed data contract (js/types.d.ts) and isolated synthetic data to swap for the API. The demo opens on a prefilled login. Both are in Portuguese.
The back end is not mine. API, authentication and tracker telemetry ingestion belong to Track7's internal team, built in parallel. The demo runs on synthetic data only: names, plates and numbers are generated. The project started in July 2026 and is ongoing. The audit still flags click targets smaller than 24 px in table headers, left for a separate review.
